Charles Henry Schewene (Schevene) was born10 Nov. 1887 at 295 Linn St. Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio. He married Elizabeth Maria Gastinger on 3 June 1913 Covington , Kenton Co., Ky.. He had moved across the Ohio river to Covington, Kenton Co., Ky in 1892 with his parents.He died 22 May 1965 at Covington, Kenton Co., Ky.

I have a picture that I got from Florence ( Flora ) Gastinger. This was in a batch that I got after she died. It is about 5" x 7". I would like help on finding out who these people are.

Louis Schewene died on 7 April 1869 in Cincinnati , Hamilton County ,Ohio. He is buried in St. John's Cemetery , Hamilton County ,Ohio. He left to mourn his loss : his wife, Mary Catherine ( Grassmick ) Schewene ; his children : Mary , Maggie , Catherine , Charles , Louisa , Joseph  and Frank.  He had attended St. Augustine Church on Bank St. Cincinnati ,Hamilton County ,Ohio.

The Schewene's / Schevene's arrived in Cincinnati, Ohio before 1840. My Schewene's left Cincinnati ,Ohio in 1892. They crossed the Ohio River and settled in Covington ,Kenton County ,Ky.

Johannes Schebene ( Schevene/Schewene ) arrived in the port of New York city in August of 1836 aboard the Ship Harve. It had sailed from the port of La Havre. His family and his wife's extended family ( the Sacksteder's ) were also on the ship.
